Purecover FAQ
What is purecover made from?
purecover is made from 100% minerals found in Australia and overseas.
No purecover mineral products contains Talcum or Bismuth Oxychloride.
Talcum can dry out your skin and is used as filler in other leading brands of mineral make up. Bismuth Oxychloride is an additive that has been approved this for use in cosmetics but 75% of the users have an allergic reaction to this chemical. Bismuth oxychloride is made up of very small metallic particles that when applied to the skin, are pushed into the top layer and pores. It will clog your pores and acne and roseacea sufferers will find it can also irritate and aggravate their condition. You can tell if you are allergic if your face itches after application. Bismuth Oxychloride is a chemical used to create a shine so it is also not suitable for use on mature skins. The shimmery look it creates can have a mask-like appearance that enhances wrinkles, making skin look older and feel drier than it is.
Is purecover suitable for all skin types?
Yes. As purecover is a completely natural product free from irritants like fragrance, preservatives such as parabens, alcohols and dyes that many traditional makeup brands use. Purecover may not be suitable for people with very dry flaky skin.
Is purecover easy to use and apply?
Yes, this is the easiest way to get a glowing even completion. It is an easy 3 step application, swirl some mineral powder up with the mineral rush, tap off any excess and apply in circular brush strokes. It is best to start on the cheeks, move to the forehead then chin. You only have to use light quick brush strokes. If you want more coverage apply another light layer. Remember this is a very concentrated product so a little will go a long way. You can apply the shimmer and bronzer in the same way. With the blush use a sweeping motion on to check bones. For an added impact apply to areas on the face where the sun naturally warms -the forehead, chin and bridge of the nose.
